Kampain.ai ("Kampain," "we," "us," or "our") provides a marketing workspace for agencies and brands, including social content planning, AI-assisted creative workflows, funnels, and related tools. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website and services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), organization and workspace details.
  • Business content: brand assets, campaign briefs, social handles, website URLs, competitor URLs, drafts, schedules, and other content you upload or enter.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect Facebook, Instagram (via Meta), LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or other platforms, we receive tokens and profile identifiers permitted by those platforms so we can list accounts, research channels, and publish on your behalf when you request it.
  • Support and communications: messages you send to us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and local storage for authentication, preferences, and security (for example, session tokens).

Information from third parties

  • Social and marketing platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, X) when you authorize a connection.
  • AI and infrastructure providers that process data on our instructions to deliver features you request.
  • Public sources such as publicly available websites and social profiles when you run research or Quick Plan scans on handles or URLs you supply.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate users and enforce security, fraud prevention, and access controls;
  • Run AI-assisted workflows you initiate (for example, brand research, content calendars, asset generation, and scheduling);
  • Connect to third-party platforms at your direction (including reading channel data and publishing posts you approve);
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and users;
  • Send service-related notices (you may opt out of non-essential marketing where applicable).

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data based on: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (for example, securing and improving the Service); consent (for example, optional integrations); and legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that host, store, or process data for us (for example, cloud hosting, databases, object storage, email, and AI APIs), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
  • Social platforms you connect, strictly as needed to perform actions you request;
  • Your organization — other users in your workspace per your role and permissions;
  • Professional advisers (lawyers, auditors) under confidentiality;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described in Section 11.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@kampain.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-party links and platforms

The Service may link to third-party sites or integrate with third-party APIs. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review Meta, LinkedIn, X, and other platform terms when you connect accounts.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.

13. Data deletion instructions (including Meta / Facebook)

You can request deletion of personal data associated with your Kampain.ai account and connected integrations. This section satisfies Meta's requirement to inform users how to delete data obtained through Facebook Login and related products.

A. Delete data inside Kampain.ai

  1. Sign in at kampain.ai/auth/sign-in.
  2. Disconnect social accounts: open your workspace → Social Media → Settings → Manage Connections, then disconnect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X for that workspace. This removes our stored OAuth tokens and linked account records for those platforms in that workspace.
  3. Delete workspace content: remove campaigns, drafts, scheduled posts, and uploaded assets you no longer need within the product.
  4. Delete your account / organization: contact us at privacy@kampain.ai from your registered email with the subject line "Account deletion request" and your organization or workspace name. We will verify ownership before processing.

B. Delete data on Meta (Facebook / Instagram)

Removing Kampain's access on Meta does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account. To revoke our app on Meta:

  1. In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Open Business integrations or Apps and websites (wording may vary).
  3. Find Kampain.ai (or your app name as shown) and remove / revoke access.

For Instagram accounts linked through Meta, revoke access from the same Meta business integrations screen or Instagram's connected apps settings.

C. Request deletion by email

Email privacy@kampain.ai with:

  • Subject: "Data deletion request"
  • The email address associated with your Kampain.ai account
  • Your organization / workspace name (if applicable)
  • Whether you want deletion of (i) your entire account, (ii) specific workspaces, or (iii) only connected social account data

We will confirm receipt and complete verified requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period or where we must keep records for legal, security, or billing purposes.

D. Meta data deletion callback (automated)

When you remove Kampain.ai from your Facebook apps and request data deletion, Meta sends a signed request to our callback. We delete connected Facebook / Instagram account tokens and related records in Kampain.ai, then return a confirmation code and status URL.

  • Data deletion instructions: https://www.kampain.ai/privacy-policy#data-deletion
  • Data deletion callback URL (Meta App Dashboard → Settings): configure your Kampain API base URL plus /social/auth/facebook/data-deletion
  • Status page: https://www.kampain.ai/data-deletion/status (use the confirmation code Meta provides after submitting a deletion request)
